SVC Students Help on Taking Care of Campus Day

students planting flower bulbs on campusA group of students from Southern Vermont College volunteered to help out on Taking Care of Campus Day in September. They collected over a dozen bags of trash from all over campus and planted over 700 flower seeds and bulbs around Everett Mansion. This event was sponsored by the College’s Student Government Association. President of the Association Allyson McNamee said, “It made me proud as SGA President to see the SVC community willing to spend part of their Sunday morning volunteering to clean up campus. From planting hundreds of bulbs, to picking up over a dozen bags of trash, we pulled together as a community to keep our campus beautiful.”
