Jennifer A. Macksey, MSEd

Executive Vice President for Administration and Finance, Adjunct Faculty, Financial Accounting

Jennifer Macksey brings over 20 years of extensive knowledge and experience working with financial systems for higher education as well as local government. Prior to SVC, she served as a member of the financial leadership team at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) as the Director of Student Accounts/Bursar and as an adjunct faculty member also taught courses in Accounting, Economics and Business Management. Before she started at MCLA in 2007, Macksey worked for 13 years for the City of North Adams, MA, as Treasurer and Tax Collector and as Director of Finance and Chief Procurement Officer.

Macksey is a member of the Masssachusetts Bursar’s Association and Massachusetts Collectors and Treasurers Association, and previously she had been a member of the North Adams Fair Housing Committee, North Adams Municipal Credit Union Board, and Business and Professional Women’s Club.  

Macksey received an M.S. degree in Educational Administration from Bay Path College and a B.S. degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Trinity College of Vermont.
