Assistant or Associate Professor, Business Administration

Southern Vermont College is seeking applications for full-time non-tenured faculty position within the McCormick Division of Business. The position has a 3/3 teaching responsibility. We are seeking a generalist for a full range of undergraduate courses. The ideal candidate will be capable of quality teaching within at least 2 of the following disciplines: accounting, finance, operations management, organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, or marketing. Faculty will also be expected to participate actively in the life of the Division – advising students, assisting in program development and assessment, and engaging on college committees as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications include but are not limited to: (a) PhD in Business Administration, Management, or a related field with concentration in one of the above-designated disciplines, and (b) a successful track record of undergraduate teaching at the college level. A Master’s- degree with significant professional experience may also be considered. Commitment to innovative teaching of business within a liberal arts environment is expected, as is an active agenda of scholarly research.
