Event: Karenna Gore Talk and Dinner

Karenna Gore, the eldest daughter of former Vice President Al Gore and the Director of the Center for Earth Ethics (CEE) at Union Theological Seminary, will speak at Southern Vermont College (SVC) on Saturday, April 23, as part of the community’s All-Species Day and Earth Day celebrations. The fundraising event, which will take place at Everett Mansion at the College at 6 p.m. after an afternoon of All-Species Day events in Bennington, will be preceded by dinner provided by Ramunto’s Restaurant. Proceeds for the event will benefit the CEE and SVC Student Environmental Initiatives.
Tickets for the event are $35 for adults and include dinner, talk and cash bar. Children under 10 can attend the dinner and talk for $20. Due to limited seating at the Everett Mansion, tickets must be purchased in advance and are available at Ramunto’s in Bennington (519 Main St.), or may be ordered at Brown Paper Tickets: brownpapertickets.com/event/2535224, or by visitng the SVC Web site at svc.edu/earth.
