SVC Named AmeriCorps*VISTA Host Campus 2009-10

SVC is pleased to announce being named a host campus for Vermont Campus Compact’s Americorp*VISTA for Academic Year 2009-10. Through this program, SVC will host a VISTA volunteer as part of the Northern New England Tri-state VISTA program. The Northern New England AmeriCorps*VISTA Collaboration is comprised of the Campus Compact state affiliates in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. The collaboration is based on mutual interest in supporting service and service-learning focused on anti-poverty measures across the more than seventy member colleges and universities.
