Hc102 Introduction to Healthcare II 4 credits
This course develops a comprehensive understanding of the U.S. healthcare system with consideration of global issues and trends. The course will introduce concepts of cross-cultural healthcare and health literacy and expand concepts of ethical/legal accountability for vulnerable population groups. The responsibility of state and federal regulatory agencies will be explored with an introduction to the issue of healthcare reimbursement. Prerequisite: Hc101 Introduction to Healthcare I.
